Plain language, short on purpose. Effective August 17, 2026.
An AI running coach. It plans, encourages, explains, and reads your form so running stays something you understand and enjoy. It thinks, you run.
FirstMile is not a doctor, a physical therapist, or a medical device, and nothing it says is medical advice. If something hurts, if you have a condition, or if you are coming back from injury, talk to a real clinician before you train. You know your body; you are responsible for training within it.
The coach is an AI. It is good, it is careful, and like any AI it can be wrong. Sanity-check anything that seems off before acting on it.
One account per person, signed in by email code. Keep your email access safe; anyone with your inbox can get a code. You can delete your account, and everything in it, any time by emailing jamesongfrancis@icloud.com.
Right now, during the beta, nothing is charged. Payments run in test mode and no real money moves. Before real billing ever turns on: pricing will be shown clearly before you pay, there will be no surprise charges, and cancelling will always be available and always effective no later than the end of the period you paid for. Cancel requests to the email above work from day one.
Do not use FirstMile to harm anyone, break the law, probe or overload the service, or pull other people's data. We can suspend accounts that do.
FirstMile is an early product, provided as-is. It may go down, change, or lose data despite our best efforts, so keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose. We are not liable for training outcomes; see section 02. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands.
If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will say so and this date will move. How we handle your data lives in the privacy page. Questions: same email, we answer.
